Primers ISOPOLANT
are used for primer coatings before applying basic waterproofing coatings and are suitable for most bases, have low consumption, good penetration into porous materials, versatility and ease of use.
It is necessary to make a thorough cleaning of the surface from contaminants, oils, and other substances that impede the penetration of the primer into the pores of the substrate for proper preparation of the substrate before applying polyurethane coatings.
The primer coating is applied with a brush, short-wool roller, or airless spraying device until a uniform coating of the substrate is obtained. In most cases, after a thorough cleaning, no more than two primer layers are sufficient to obtain a high-quality substrate for polyurethane coatings. The primer flow rate may rise in case of increased porosity of the substrate.
